Started in 1970’s
Gibbons have been developing the Bishopdale residential subdivision since the early 1970’s. The sites have been developed in stages for the residential market as the demand for homes in the Nelson City Fringe has grown over the years. Sales of the stages has allowed the company to constantly fund and provide growth in section development in the neighbourhood.
The recent stages of the development have seen the sections commence up the hills - gaining lovely views of the Nelson city and neighbourhood- with the final stages of the development seeing some of the best views across the Tasman Bay available.
Vista Heights, the last 65 sections of the development, are positioned on top of the ridge above Waimea Road and will be constructed over the next 2-3 years. These sections will be marketed in stages as the development progresses.
